Food and service very good!

Quality and taste of the food were very good. Probably in the upper price category in Oberstdorf, but definitely a good choice if you want to dine well.

August 2020 Nice place in Oberstdorf, centrally located. Appealing ambience. Operation ok. There's only room for improvement when it comes to eating. Had ordered small roast pork with sauerkraut. It wasn't that special, but I was particularly disappointed with the sauerkraut that was served. The simplest sauerkraut (probably from a can) without any refinements (e.g. bacon cubes or the like). Really just angry without any pep. If I order a meal in a "better" restaurant at a not low price, I assume that there is a qualified cook who knows what to offer the guests.

We were guests at the Mohren several times. Very good kitchen. A nice place to sit outside and end the day.

Even if I can't judge the food because I only had a drink, my impression was very good! Fast, attentive and very friendly service. On two evenings I was there to eat and was very happy with it, the food was excellent, tasted good, the portion was more than sufficient, but there are also small portions. The service was still very, very good, especially when Valentin served!

We spontaneously decided to eat here and haven't regretted it! Fast friendly service. Don't have to wait long for our food. Tasted good. Prices are a bit high but the dining experience justifies this 😊

Unfortunately food was too salty

After the four of us were ignored by the waitress for 10 minutes, after placing the order (4 meals + drinks) we were told that we would not be able to get anything to eat anymore, because we closed at 10pm. Then we stopped a few blocks away. With the Mohren, one does not seem to be really dependent on guests even in these difficult times for the gastro. In view of the very long waiting time, the service does not seem to be able to meet the demands set by the high price level.

The interior is Real bad 😖 Please guy do some renovations! I order 2 latte coffees, one was made with water the other with milk, really bad!

Located in the middle of Oberstdorf, the Hotel Mohren offers a somewhat older, but nice ambience for a good afternoon coffee including cake or ice cream. The restaurant menu includes a small but fine selection that also includes regional specialties. Reservations recommended in the evening.

Everything was too perfect. The waiter could literally read the thoughts of my friend and me regarding our order, also very nice service and an impressive atmosphere. We were always asked whether everything was still right and whether we were doing well. Definitely a MUST for our Christmas date next year. ❤️❄️

Waiter is nice and polite but three quarters of an hour to wait for the food and then a cold to get served is not at all. Especially not with the prices. After complaining and a short discussion with another young waiter (why I still have to discuss as a guest) was then brought a few minutes later, a new hot food. At least it was delicious

Unmotivated waiters who do not communicate with each other. After a long wait we asked for the bill. In response, we have unfortunately only received that this is only with the colleague (which has not been visible for some time). He would not tell the other waiter for us ....

I've been there with group. Food decent (main course even bad). Couldn't get there with bus - city closed to coaches.

Great food and service was friendly, the only downside is we had to wait for an hour to get our main course (we didn't have a starter), but it was pretty packed so I understand.
